DROWNED Idola Specus CD

Idola Specus, recorded in spring 2014 and released by Sepulchral Voice Records, is the first full-length album from this Berlin-based Death Metal band, originally founded in 1992. Composed over six years and introducing new members T2 and G, it continues the legacy left by their mini-album Viscera Terrae (2006).

This album is not a look back, but a statement of Death Metal as it should be played — dark, heavy, and raw. Infused with surreal morbidity, subtle doom and progressive hints, Idola Specus delivers an esoteric, introspective, and uncompromising listening experience for fans of extreme metal.
