FURIA – Huta Luna CD
The newest full length from Furia and one of the most unique and special albums the band has ever recorded. Huta Luna contains ten brand new songs recorded at Czyściec Studio that take the legendary Furia formula into completely new territory.
This is by far the fastest and most direct Furia album ever made. Pure relentless blast beats from start to finish, perfectly minimalistic and incredibly hypnotic. The guitar work is built on accelerated reinterpretations of traditional Polish folk melodies, creating a strange surreal atmosphere where two completely different musical worlds collide. The vocals are mostly gang shouts and spoken word poetic recitations, completely unlike anything the band has done before.
The album culminates with the massive 28 minute closing track Księżyc, Czyli Słońce, a slow, somber and oppressive ambient piece that represents the slow awakening from a strange dream. This is one of the most artistic, fascinating and special releases in the entire Furia catalogue.
Huta Luna really does feel like the music from a dream. One of the most unique works in the entire Furia discography.
