The third full length from Furia and arguably the most complete, most mature album the band has ever recorded. Marzannie, Królowej Polski takes everything that made the legendary debut Martwa Polska Jesień so unique, combines it with the dark beauty of Grudzień Za Grudniem, and elevates it into something completely new.
This is Furia at their absolute creative peak. The production is the warmest and most organic the band has ever achieved – clean and transparent yet still cold and raw, with the rare feeling of a band actually playing in a room together. The songwriting is equally traditional and progressive, where classic Burzum-like riffing meets long hypnotic instrumental passages closer to post-metal territory.
This music has an almost hypnotic influence. You will not be able to listen to it as background. It demands and rewards complete attention from start to finish.
The most perfect and amazingly written of all Furia albums. One of the most original Black Metal bands of the modern scene.
