Pure Scandinavian Aggression

Rooted deeply in the Bergen black metal tradition, Tortorum channel the spirit of bands such as Marduk, Gorgoroth, and Satyricon, combining speed, darkness, and militant precision.

The guitars, handled by Specter and Skyggen, cut through the mix with ominous and razor-sharp clarity. Skyggen also performs drumming duties, delivering fluid, driving blast beats that propel the songs forward without overpowering the rest of the instrumentation.

Barghest’s vocals are venomous and feral, layered over the chaos with commanding authority, while his bass work reinforces the cold, hostile atmosphere.
