BEHERIT – Drawing Down the Moon
Drawing Down the Moon stands as one of the most unique and essential albums in the history of Finnish Black Metal. Originally emerging during the early ’90s black metal explosion, Beherit created something far stranger, heavier and more ritualistic than many of their contemporaries.
The album combines primitive black metal aggression with early death metal heaviness, distorted vocals and dark ambient passages. Its thick, hypnotic riffs and ritual atmosphere make it instantly recognizable — a raw and occult work that still feels disturbing and original decades later.
This Kvlt 2016 edition is a mandatory release for collectors and fans of underground black metal, especially those into Sarcófago, Von, Bathory and the darker side of the Finnish scene.
