Cult Evil German Black Metal! Moonblood takes listeners back to the absolute
roots of their sinister sound with My Evil Soul. This release captures the band’s
unofficial 1st Rehearsal, originally recorded between August and October 1994 — a time
when the German underground was boiling with raw, unfiltered extremity.

For this 2023 release via
Misanthrophia Discos,
the material has been professionally restored directly from the original master tape and specially mastered
for CD. Clocking in at an epic 49 minutes, this rehearsal captures Moonblood in their most primal,
atmospheric, and authentic form — a true testament to the spirit of early ’90s European Black Metal.

The 7-track journey moves through dark, wintery landscapes and mythological themes, from the opening
howls of When the Werewolf Howls… to the tragic finale of A Warrior Has Gone.
The cold, raw production perfectly serves the eerie, frostbitten atmosphere that would become a hallmark
of the band’s later, more widely known works.
