Forests of Witchery is the legendary debut full-length from Finnish Black Metal act
Thy Serpent, originally released in 1996 and now available again in this Kvlt 2015 edition.

Unlike many raw and primitive black metal releases of its era, Thy Serpent created something more atmospheric, melodic and introspective. The album blends harsh guitar work, dark keyboard textures, layered vocals and melancholic interludes into a sound that remains distinctive within the Finnish Black Metal scene.

With six long and carefully composed tracks, Forests of Witchery offers nearly fifty minutes of cold, thoughtful and immersive black metal. A mandatory release for fans of atmospheric Finnish Black Metal and classic mid-90s underground metal.
