Crystal Riffs, Haunting Keys & Reimagined Demos

Built upon re-recordings of the Frozen Memory and Into Everlasting Fire demos, this release replaces lo-fi murk with crisp, freezing guitar work and pounding drum production. Azhemin’s synthesizers and choir arrangements dominate five tracks, creating chilling interludes like the standout “Ode to the Witches (Part III)”. Original vocalist Sami Tenetz returns to lead the vocal duties, delivering a fittingly bleak performance that aligns perfectly with the songs’ dark architecture.

A Pivotal Chapter in Finnish Extreme Metal

Lords of Twilight marked a creative turning point. Following its release, bassist/keyboardist Luopio departed, and the band abandoned their signature atmospheric sound in favor of the uncompromising aggression found on their next album, Christcrusher.
